Our Trustees
Trustees of Ahu Community Trust are appointed by the Minister of Finance for an initial term of four years. The Minister has the power to extend this appointment for a further period of four years. The objective of Ahu Community Trust is to financially assist non-profit and charitable organisations in the Mid and South Canterbury region to achieve their philanthropic, cultural and recreational purposes.
To ensure that its granting capacity is sustained, Ahu Community Trust must also manage its investment portfolio prudently and professionally to maintain the real value of the Trust’s assets.
